Race your one-mile (1609m) in a single run activity (without pausing or stopping) during the qualifying window and track it with a GPS running tracker using imperial measurements.

You will need to provide a screenshot of your one-mile time trial result. It must clearly show the date, distance logged, time taken and average pace of the run. Screenshot without either of the information will be rejected.

There are plenty of free tracking apps available, Strava being one of the most popular among runners.

Your mile (1609m) can be run on any level ground where you can pick up a GPS signal. Indoor runs, treadmill runs and manual uploads will not be counted toward your result.

You may run multiple one mile efforts during the qualifying window if you wish to improve your result but you can only submit one time trial result. .

You can run more than one mile, but no more than a differential of 10%. Your final time trial result will be determined by your average pace.

Places will be awarded on a ‘fastest first’ basis comparative to your age and gender. Completion and submission of the nomination/application does not guarantee entry into the event.

Upon successful submission of an application, an acknowledgement message will be displayed on your computer screen.

We will review your application to make sure it is complete. If there is a problem with your application, or If we need further information or documentation from you, we’ll send you a message. If you receive a request to provide additional information or supporting documents, you must do this in the time frame requested, or your application may be refused.

If you qualify for a place, we will be in touch with you directly and you are required to accept/decline it by the stipulated deadline given in the confirmation email. Due to the large volume of applications we receive, we will only be able to contact participants who qualify.

Please be sure to check your junk or spam folder for these emails if it doesn’t arrive in your inbox and remember to set your account to receive emails from [email protected]. If you still don’t receive the emails, please write to [email protected].

How do I receive a nomination from my SA-affiliated club or school?

Ask your Singapore Athletics-affiliated club or school about being nominated. If a Singapore Athletics member or an educational institution/school is eligible, it will automatically be sent a link to the NB All-Star Mile nomination form with invitation code(s) by email by 23 November 2022. If your Singapore Athletics-affiliated club or school has not yet received the email or has questions regarding the process, please feel free to share this information with the representatives directly or ask them to contact us at [email protected].

If you have been nominated by your Singapore Athletics-affiliated club or school and would like to increase your chances of gaining a place, you could also apply under the public entry for another chance to secure a place. If you end up gaining a place under the Singapore Athletics member/school entry, your application under the public entry will automatically be withdrawn.

If you miss out on the Singapore Athletics-affiliated club or school nomination, don’t be dispirited – you can make it to the start line via a public entry application

Upon successful submission of a nomination, an acknowledgement message will be displayed on the computer screen.

We will review the nomination to make sure it is complete. Once we find the nomination complete, we’ll send both you and your representative a notification email with instructions to complete the application process. Your nomination will be processed within three working days (excluding the day of submission). Some nominations require further administrative processing, which takes additional time. Please be patient. We will contact you as soon as this processing has been completed.
